Why do Computers Use Binary

While watching this video, I have learned several new things. One new thing I have learned was that the way the sound goes through your headphones is called analog signal. Another thing I learned was that the binary method numbers are called "Base-n Numerals". Lastly I had learned this system helps computers in multiple ways. One thing I don't really understand is how quickly people do this activity. Another thing I don't really understand is how you can do large numbers in this binary system. One thing I would like to know more about is why this system was created.

Binary

1. The highest level I go to on the Binary game was 4.
2. The hardest part of the Binary game was when u had to add all the large numbers together to find out what the number represented was.
3. I do not mind the binary number to count with.
4. I could use my five fingers to count with by each finger being one digit.
5. The connection with how the Binary system is used with computers is by using a different method of math to manage the technique.

Google Boys video

1. The two man operation changed into a profitable large corporation by over time having investors that gave them money to make the company bigger and better.
2. Two challenges Google faced were other companies trying to make search engines also and almost got sued by a company.
3. Their key to being ahead and staying ahead of all their competition was their speed.
4. They all found their information by an invention called "google bot" which gathered all their information for fast searches every time a website was updated.

Eliza

1. I do not find Eliza "human-like" at all. She is nothing like a human, she is a computer.

2. By making her more human we could have a real person answer the common questions asked by people using this device. Someone could be answering for her instead of a computer answering.

3. I do not expect anything from a computer to be a therapist. Computers do not have emotions because they are not a real life person.

4. Yes I believe that in the future someone will create a device that could be more "human-like" for this therapist on a computer.

Graffiti culture

The different type of culture I chose to learn about was the Graffiti culture. This is one of the four types of elements of Hip-Hop. It is also a form of art, and it expresses cultural meaning. Graffiti is easily misunderstood and can be illegal to do. This came into New York during the year of the 1960s. Then in the 1970s there began to be something called "Style Wars", which were when graffiti artists had competitions to see who was bigger and better. The trend still exists to this day, and is a major part of the urban environment. Graffiti is an important and powerful form of art that has been spread over the years and all over the world.
